Amid all of the legal turmoil surrounding The Real Housewives of New Jersey couple Teresa and Joe Giudice, at last, there’s a bit of reprieve. A bankruptcy court recently ruled that Teresa and Joe will not have to sell their lavish mansion to settle their million-dollar debts.
According to court documents obtained by RadarOnline, the trustee of the Giudice’s ongoing bankruptcy case filed documents back in December stating their home is of “inconsequential value” to their estate. Luckily, the court’s proposal was certified earlier this month and the family will get to remain in their Towaco, New Jersey residence.
Both Teresa and Joe could face more than 50 years behind bars over unrelated fraud and tax evasion charges. The couple is set to stand trial for that case in April of this year.
